When many of us come to work, we need "coffee" or "tea" to get started. But we rarely think of the hygiene of the office cups or mugs that we use.
A recent International study noted that 90% of mugs in office kitchens are coated with germs. That's not all. Almost 20% of these cups had the presence of faecal matter. The proximity of the majority of Office pantries to the Restrooms may be the prime cause of this.
We always have those colleagues who just let their cups sit on their desks for a long time, and instead of proper washing, rinse with tap water to refill them with Tea or Coffee. This is unhygienic as mugs, either empty or almost empty, encourage germ growth and attract bugs like flies.
If a mug is not washed correctly and is used by your colleagues who are suffering from an infection like the flu or common cold, you may get infected by using the mug.
Use of a Disinfectant Grade Dishwashing Liquid for daily cleaning of Office Mugs or Cups will protect you and your colleagues from infections.
