“Flight Attendants” serving you more than food??

“Flight Attendants” serving you more than food | Clean It Blog | Pax Hygiene

Here is an interesting fact. According to new research, it's not just your fellow passengers on the plane who could make you ill, but the cabin crew too. The study shows that an infected air steward presents a greater risk to anyone sitting in an aisle or middle seats than those squeezed next to the window.

A sick passenger posed a far lower risk to their fellow travellers and would, on average, infect less than one person per flight, as long as they were sitting more than a row or two seats away. For example, the researchers observed passengers and crew on ten transcontinental flights during the US flu season. They found that a sick member of cabin crew was likely to infect an average of 4.6 passengers per flight.

Best defence?? Mask up with a N95 Mask. Carry along a alcohol-based disinfectant sprays containing Quaternary Ammonium Compounds. Spray the food tray, seat handles and your hands, before taking your mask off. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth without sanitizing your hands.
