All adults have to shave. But there are many ways shaving can go wrong. You can cut yourself accidentally. Corroded or dirty razors can irritate and damage your skin. Rushed or improper shaving results in tiny nicks in the skin. Unclean and unwashed razors, harbor viruses and bacteria, which can get into your skin and enter the blood through tiny cuts and nicks. Improperly stored and unused razors have grime, debris built up and corrosion spots.
Ideally, all razors should be cleaned and disinfected before and after use. It is very simple and easy to take care of razors. For a clean and smooth shave, here are easy to follow five steps:
Step 1: Before every use, rinse the razor for at least 20 seconds with hot water to remove any deposits or debris.
Step 2: Prepare a solution of Dr Pax Disinfectant Hygiene Liquid (2-3ml for a tumbler of 250ml warm clean water).
Step 3: Dip the razor blade in the Dr Pax solution and move the razor in a circular motion to remove any leftover debris for at least 10 seconds.
Step 4: After each razor stoke, dip and shake the razor blade in the Dr Pax solution to remove soap and hair.
Step 5: After completing the shaving, thoroughly rinse the razor in hot water and store the razor in an upright position.
PS: Never use razors with corrosion spots or uneven blade edges, and never share the razor blades with anyone else.
